  • REVALUATION UPDATE....

    The Town of Brentwood has hired KRT Appraisal to conduct a Revaluation of all properties in the Town with values effective for the final tax bill of the 2020 property tax year.


    Data Collector's will be visiting your area within the next couple of months to verify the interior/exterior information on file. If no one is home, the data collector will be verifying exterior measurements of the buildings only.  You may call KRT Appraisal at (855)  228-4033 during normal business hours if you would rather set up an appointment for the inspection.

    The Data Collector will have photo identification, a letter of introduction signed by a town official and have their vehicle registered with the police department. Updates will be available on the Town's website or krtappraisal.com.

    The Town Clerk/ Tax Collector's office will be closed Feb 11, 2020, for the Presidential Primary.  Voting will be taking place at the Brentwood Recreation Center, 190 Rte 125, from 7am-7pm

  • Last day to register to vote

    Prior to the primary, the last day to register to vote, at the town office, is January 21, 2020. After that date you will have to register to vote at the primary.

    Absentee Ballots for the February 11, 2020 Presidential election are now available at the Town Clerk's office.  All absentee ballots need to be returned to our office no later than 5pm on February 10, 2020, unless it is delivered in person by a designee to the election. Election hours on February 11, 2020 are 7am-7pm at the Brentwood Recreation Center.

    The Town of Brentwood is seeking applications from qualified candidates to serve as the next Town Treasurer.  The Town Treasurer is appointed by the Board of Selectmen.  This is a part time position (8-10 hours per week) and attendance at Selectmen’s meetings is required.  The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing and managing the receipts, disbursements, and reconciliation of the general fund and several concentration accounts, bond applications, and investments.  Interested candidates, please email a letter of interest and resume to Jonathan Ellis at treasurer@brentwoodnh.gov

    Town of Brentwood is looking for an individual in the highway department for plowing and snow removal operations.  Must be at least 18 years of age.  NH CDL required.  Applicants must live within a 30 minute commute of Brentwood. Pay range is $20-25 per hour commensurate with experience.

    Town of Brentwood is looking for an individual to work full-time in the highway department performing grounds work, road construction, and plowing.  Must be at least 18 years of age.  NH CDL preferred but not required.  Applicants must live within a 30 minute commute of Brentwood.  Pay range is $17-$23 per hour commensurate with experience. The Town offers a very competitive benefit package including health and dental care, pension, and paid time off.

  • Mosquitoes and Ticks

    Mosquito-borne diseases transmitted in New Hampshire include West Nile virus (WNV), Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) virus, and Jamestown Canyon virus (JCV). EEE and WNV are maintained in a bird-mosquito transmission cycle with humans considered incidental hosts. JCV is maintained in a deer-mosquito transmission cycle. The greatest risk for human acquisition of WNV and EEE in NH is between July and October. Risk for JCV acquisition begins as early as April when the snow melt mosquitoes are present and biting.


    Jamestown Canyon Virus was detected in Kingston.  As a result, Brentwood's risk level is being increased to "Moderate" for the threat of mosquito borne disease.


    The Powassan Virus was also detected.  Powassan is a tick borne disease.
